Owner splashes £13,000 to save her three-legged pooch rescued from the Thai dog meat trade

Natalia George, from Canterbury, Kent, adopted Mishka in June last year, after he was rescued from the illegal dog meat trade only to be hit by a car leading to the eight-year-old losing his hind leg.
